Joint concert with the Boston City-Wide String Orchestra

The Atlantic Youth Orchestra, Susan Bill, artistic director, will present a joint concert with the Boston City-Wide String Orchestra, Betty Hillmon, artistic director, on Saturday afternoon, June 16th, at 2 pm in the atrium of the Thomas Crane Public Library, 40 Washington Street, Quincy. This will be a repeat performance of a concert which the two groups will give jointly at Hibernian Hall in Dorchester at 3:30 on Sunday afternoon, June 10th. Both concerts are free. Come enjoy these young performers’ talent and stay to meet them afterwards.

The Atlantic Youth Orchestra will participate in two joint concerts with the Boston City-Wide String Orchestra in June.  The first concert will be held at Hibernian Hall, Roxbury, on Sunday afternoon, June 10, 2012, at 3:30 pm.  The second performance (same program) will be held at the Thomas Crane Public Library, 40 Washington St., Quincy, on the following Saturday afternoon, June 16, 2012, at 2 pm.  Come enjoy these concerts and support these young musicians!

Welcome to the Atlantic Youth Orchestra

Welcome to the Atlantic Youth Orchestra website!  The Atlantic Youth Orchestra is the performing group of the Atlantic Music School, located in North Quincy, Massachusetts.  Members are young and young-at-heart!  Membership in the Atlantic Youth Orchestra is by audition or teacher recommendation.  The orchestra has performed at the Thomas Crane Public Library, the August Moon festival in Quincy Center, the Lunar New Year festival at North Quincy High School, and on Quincy Cable TV, among other places in Quincy, and has performed a joint concert with the Boston City-Wide String Orchestra at the Museum of African-American Art in Boston.  Call 617-335-8820 for more information.
